MP says have your say on Local Plan
John Baron MP has today encouraged the public to submit their comments to Basildon Borough Council before the 16th of December. This additional consultation provides an opportunity for residents to shape proposals for new housing and employment development which needs to be built by 2034.
This consultation is in addition to the consultation which ran until the 24th March and includes several new proposals. The Council is welcoming comments to help determine if the new proposals offer better opportunities to help meet the Borough’s housing targets.
John said,
“It is important for the public to engage in this process by submitting their comments to the Council. This will allow residents the opportunity to help shape future development and ensure their voices are heard.”
