MP and County Councillor Tony Hedley says options are being explored

Today John Baron MP and County Councillor Tony Hedley visited St Peter’s Catholic School in Billericay to discuss the school’s concerns about the possible withdrawal of their lollipop man and the cost of possibly having to fund hot school meals. Also in attendance were John Peoples, Headteacher, Amanda Mills, Parent Governor and a number of parents and governors

John said:

“This was a constructive meeting. A number of options were discussed, and both the school itself and Tony and I are now exploring possible solutions. Our prime consideration is the safety of the children.”
