MP answers questions by year 5 & 6 students
John Baron MP visited The Phoenix Primary School and Nursery in Leinster Road, Laindon at the invitation of the year 5 & 6 Junior Governing body, to answer various questions about his job as a Member of Parliament.
John said:
“It was a broad and wide-ranging Q&A session, with the students showing keen interest and excellent awareness of many of the key issues.”
“The school should also be commended for making very good progress in Mathematics and writing at Key Stage 2. The dedicated team is determined to build on this progress.”
John Han, Deputy Head said:
“It was great to have John Baron MP visit the school and take questions from the students. The school will be inviting John to a number of key events during the forthcoming year. The Junior Governing Body will be visiting Parliament next week.”
