MP thanks Bonus Pot Sponsors, Charities and all who helped to make this such a success
On Friday Evening, John and the Fun Walk Committee handed over bonus cheques to all charities who benefited from the 2011 Fun Walk at a special presentation at the meeting room behind the Rising Sun pub, Billericay High Street. At the presentation John revealed that 88 charities and good causes had benefited from the £75,000 raised from this year’s walk at Barleylands Farm. This compared to £50,000 raised from the 2010 walk.
John also used this opportunity to thank everyone who made this such a success and the bonus pot sponsors who were Hallmark Care Homes, Veolia Environmental Services (UK) plc, Swan Housing, Toomey Motors , Bellway Homes, Stock Brook Country Club, Ford Motor Company, Selex Galileo, K E Kent Transport, A & B Cabs, Mr Barrie Stone and others.
John said:
