MP urges everyone to have their coronavirus jab
Yesterday the Prime Minister published the Government’s roadmap to ease the coronavirus-related restrictions. This involves four stages for lifting restrictions in phases, with each stage subjected to four tests – for full details, please see ‘notes to editors’ below. This ensures a robust and irreversible process towards ending the coronavirus restrictions, projected to be on 21st June, and will start with the first step of returning children to schools from 8th March.
John said,
“I welcome and support this robust roadmap for getting out of the lockdown and other coronavirus restrictions. These measures have been difficult for us all, but the vaccination programme gives us a clear route out of the pandemic. It is very encouraging to see such strong progress with this programme, and I congratulate all involved with it, both nationally and locally. As ever, I urge everyone to have their jab when it is their turn.”
“The past year has been tough for everyone, but we will get through this. I am looking forward to 21st June – and not just because it is my birthday.”
