MP: An important boost to the green industrial revolution
The Government has today announced a £95 million investment for two new offshore wind ports in the Humber region and Teesside. This will create 6,000 new jobs in the green sector, and will help produce clean, cheap energy to power homes and our economy.
John said,
“This major investment is a key step towards achieving the Prime Minister’s stated goal of providing enough energy from offshore wind to power every home in the UK by 2030. It will provide an important boost to our green industrial revolution as well as creating thousands of new jobs, both of which are very welcome.”
