MP congratulates the whole school for its outstanding Ofsted report
Today, John Baron MP, officially opened Buttsbury Junior School Academy, Billericay. The School is the first to achieve Academy status in Billericay because of its outstanding Ofsted report. John met with pupils, sat down and took questions from the schools News Team, and then addressed the whole school before cutting the ribbon and then joining Governors and Teachers for a sandwich lunch.
John said:
“Many congratulations to the school on achieving Academy status. This achievement reflects the school’s excellent reputation academically and its great record when it comes to good citizenship and community work.”
“Achieving Academy status will allow the school much greater freedom in 
the way it delivers education to the benefit of the students. It will open a fresh chapter from which I expect the school to continue to go from strength to strength.”
