MP, County and District Councillors, and Chamber of Commerce discuss options.
Today John Baron MP hosted a meeting at his constituency office to discuss possible options for improving the parking capacity in Billericay for the benefit of businesses and residents alike. Present were County Councillors Kay Twitchen and Anthony Hedley, District Councillor Philip Turner and Trevor Draper (Chairman, Billericay Chamber of Commerce).
John said:
“We had a constructive meeting, and are now working closely together to urgently explore a number of options to improve the parking capacity of the town.”
“We are all resolved to maintain the character of our High street and the balance between day and night trade. This means doing all we can to support local businesses.”
