MP congratulates his Association team
John Baron MP has thanked all those who helped him with his election campaign.
John said:
“Many thanks to all those who helped in the campaign. I am very grateful to everyone who delivered leaflets, canvassed, put up posters and joined me at railway stations and in the High Streets. This was a real team effort.”
“Congratulations to all our Council candidates who did a tremendous job in getting our message across – they can be proud of what they have achieved.”
“I would also like to thank everyone who voted for me for putting their trust in me. I will continue to do my utmost to serve all my constituents.”

John secured a 9% swing, compared to a national average of close to 5%, which meant he increased his majority to over 12,000 despite boundary changes just prior to the election bringing the notional majority down to around 3,000.
