MP opens new Beer Shop in Chapel Street Billericay

On Friday, John Baron MP officially opened The Essex Beer Shop in Chapel Street, Billericay at the invitation of owner, Mr Trevor Jeffery. The shop will be stocking Billericay Brewing Company’s own beers as well as beers from other local Essex and London microbreweries. Billericay Brewing Company was established in 2012 by Trevor, a former teacher and industrial chemist. The company aims to make craft ales of taste and character.

John said:

“As a beer drinker, this is a wonderful shop and initiative generally.  There is a fantastic range of Essex beers on offer, including two superb ales made by Billericay Brewing.  My congratulations go to Trevor and his team for living the dream.”

Trevor said:

“It is definitely living the dream for me to be creating my own beers and selling them and other great ales in my own specialist beer shop. I hope the shop will be an excellent asset for Billericay and that we will soon be brewing fantastic local ales on site that will be available in our shop and local pubs and bars.”
