MP congratulates Billericay Lions

On Friday evening, John Baron MP visited the Billericay Beer festival at the Billericay Town Football Club, Blunts Wall Road. A wide selection of real ales, ciders and perries were on offer to taste – a good number locally brewed in Essex. The Festival ran through from Friday – Sunday evening. The event was organised by Billericay Lions in aid of local charities.

John said:

“My congratulations go to Peter Claughton, his team, and the Billericay Lions for organising the festival, which raises a lot of money for good causes. There was a wide selection of beers, which as real ale drinkers we enjoyed.”

Peter said:

“It was another fantastic, successful event which was enjoyed by the people of Billericay. The money we raised will go to the Lions Charity account which will be used to support the local community.”
