John Baron MP addresses 6th Form Students at Mayflower High School, Billericay

MP talks about the aim of Parliament Week

John Baron MP today addressed sixth form students at Mayflower High School, Stock Road, Billericay. John talked to around 300 students about various topics including, University Fees, Our membership of the EU, the economy and renewable energy. This visit was part of Parliament week which aims to encourage greater understanding and engagement which the political process.

John said:

“This was a great visit. The packed hall was attentive and threw up many interesting subjects – in fact we ran out of time. The 6^th Form Council will also be joining us for next year’s Fun Walk. My thanks to all who organised the visit.”
