MP highlights how 2014 Budget will help constituents

Following the Chancellor’s Budget in the House of Commons, John Baron MP said:

“I particularly welcome the additional help for the lower paid in raising the income tax threshold. This will leave more money in the pockets of hard-working people, and benefit the economy as a whole.”

“Further tax incentives to encourage SMEs, particularly those involved in manufacturing, will help businesses and employment across the constituency. This comes on top of corporation tax cuts for businesses both large and small.”

“A new pensioner bond will help those who have worked and saved for their retirement. It will offer a better return than any equivalent in the market today.”

“As a beer drinker, I also welcome the cut in beer duty!”
