MP praises service and longer opening hours following move
John Baron MP today visited the new Basildon Post Office following its move to WHSmith in the Town Square. The Post Office now offers longer opening houses since its relocation just over one month ago, including the introduction of four hours of service on Sundays, in a modern, open- plan retail environment.
John said:
“Having previously used the new service, I am impressed with the team at Basildon Post Office. It’s good to know that the branch is providing a good service for people in the area.”
“Extending opening hours means people have greater choice in when they use the service and the bright, modern feel of the branch is welcoming”
“Having been kept fully informed by Post Office representatives throughout the consultation and then the relocation itself, it’s now great to see that this new service is meeting customer needs, and has secured a bright long-term future for the service.”
