John Baron MP has welcomed Essex County Council’s decision to keep its 200 or so school crossing patrols including some 48 at zebra crossings. John visited St Peter’s School with County Councillor Tony Hedley regarding this issue and liaised with County Councillor Kay Twitchen on the school’s behalf.

John said:

“It is good news that Essex Council has listened to local County Councillors and myself, and retained these patrols on zebra crossings. The safety of our children is paramount. My thanks go to our local County Councillors for their hard work on this issue.”
