MP joins Laindon franchisee and Sir Geoff Hurst at Parliamentary reception
Courtesy of a Parliamentary reception to mark McDonald’s 40th Anniversary in the UK, John Baron MP recently met with Gen Isikgun, franchisee of the Laindon branch of McDonalds and Sir Geoff Hurst. The report ‘Serving the UK: McDonald’s at 40’ was also launched at this reception.
John said:
“I enjoyed celebrating with Gen their historic milestone. McDonalds employs many people across the UK and has a good track record on apprenticeships. It was also great to meet Sir Geoff Hurst and discuss the 1966 World Cup final.”
