Today John Baron MP visited Private Ambulance Service Ltd, Hovefields Court, Basildon at the invitation of James Barnes, Managing Director. The company offer services to both the NHS and private companies. It employs nearly 100 full time staff servicing 50 ambulances and other vehicles. Following an inspection by the CQC in conjunction with the Department of Health, the company met all required standards. John said:

“I was impressed with my visit and the team I. This company helps the NHS save money which can then be ploughed back into patient care. It also provides a caring service. It is good to see another local business doing well.”

James Barnes said:

“It was a pleasure to show John Baron MP around our company. We are extremely proud of what we have accomplished within the last two years. The continued growth is testament to all of our staff and management, showing that working together can provide a service to the NHS and other private customers that is both cost effective and meets all national guidelines.

We like to follow an ethos within the company that all operational staff should treat the patients on board like they are a relative.”
