John Baron MP, recently attended a British Legion event whose aim was to say thank you to all those MP’s who have done their bit for the Legion over the year. The Event was held in Parliament and was attended by John Farmer, the National Chairman of the Royal British Legion.
John said:
“The British Legion does a great job helping our soldiers, both past and present, and their families in times of need. Given our overseas commitments in recent years, particularly in Afghanistan and Iraq, their work is terribly important and we must do what we can to support them.
“This ‘thank you’ by the Legion is very much appreciated by all of us, but it is the least we can do to help.”
