MP welcomes new jobs in Basildon and Billericay
John Baron MP has welcomed new figures showing the Government’s Start-Up Loans scheme has so far supported 16 people in Basildon and Billericay with the ideas and determination to start a new business with £64,610 of loans to help them get going. Across Britain more than 20,000 Start-Up loans, worth over £100 million, have been awarded to help new businesses find their feet.
John said,
“This comes as great news. It shows the Start-Up Loans scheme is giving people with ideas and determination to start a new business the finance they need to get it off the ground.”
“So far 16 loans, worth a total of £64,610, have been made in our area, creating more jobs and opportunities in our community. By backing businesses which create local employment, the scheme is ensuring more people can have the security and stability of a regular pay packet. This is good news for Basildon and Billericay.”
