MP highlights importance of earlier diagnosis

John Baron MP is supporting Breast Cancer Campaign’s flagship fundraiser, ‘Wear it Pink’ day. This year’s theme is ‘look good, do good’ in support of breast cancer research. On Friday 24th October, people all across the country will come together to find fun and stylish ways to wear something pink in the office, at home or at school. Donations raised by this year’s event will go to Breast Cancer Campaign to help fund their important work.

John said,

“Each year over 50,000 women and around 350 men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and sadly 12,000 women and 80 men die from this disease. This is why I support Breast Cancer Campaign’s excellent fundraising efforts to sustain world-class breast cancer research, as well as improvements in earlier diagnosis – cancer’s ‘Magic Key’.”

“I hope all will show their support by ‘wearing it pink’ on Friday 24th October.”
