MP focusses on importance of job creation

John Baron MP has welcomed new figures showing that the number of private sector businesses in East of England has increased by around 80,000 over the past four years. At the start of 2014, for the first time ever there were over 5 million private sector businesses across the UK. This is a record annual increase of 333,000 businesses, or 7 per cent, since the start of 2013. There are now over three quarters of a million more private sector businesses than there were in 2010.

John said:

‘These latest figures are good news. Our various initiatives to help small businesses are paying off. These include cutting Corporation Tax, the doubling of Rate Relief and £2,000 off National Insurance. We must do all we can to help our entrepreneurs who are in turn helping to create jobs.”
