MP discusses issues affecting local residents
John Baron MP has recently met Kathy Peach at the Basildon Borough Citizen Advice [CA] to discuss the issues that are most concerning the people in Basildon Borough. He also discussed funding issues going forward for the CA. John visits the CA on a regular basis to meet with the staff for updates.
John said:
“It was good to catch up with Kathy, and we are liaising on a number of issues. The CA does a great job in helping people and it is important that we do what we can to support them.”
Kathy said:
“We appreciate the support of our local MPs, as it enables us to raise local and national issues which directly affect their constituents. We are particularly proud of our new webchat and email service that residents can access from www.citizensadvice.org.uk. Many residents find this new delivery channel an easier way to get an answer to their problem and it enables us to help more clients than ever before. Thank you John for your continuous support and commitment to the Citizens Advice service in the Borough.”
