MP says next hustings on 20th June at The Billericay School

Last Friday, John Baron MP, together with Stephen Metcalfe MP, held a public hustings at the James Hornsby School on the EU referendum. The evening was an opportunity for constituents to discuss the issues, and for John and Stephen to explain why he will be voting to leave on 23rd June.

John said,

“Stephen and I were very happy to explain why we will be voting ‘leave’ on 23rd June. The wish for a fairer immigration policy, which does not discriminate against the rest of the world, to spend the £10 billion we save on our own priorities, to free smaller businesses from EU red tape, and to forge our own trade deals with the faster-growing parts of the global economy, are just some of the reasons. But above all, to regain our sovereignty, so that we are free to be in control of our own affairs. “

“The questions from the public were informed and varied, and we had great pleasure in discussing the issue generally. My next public hustings is at The Billericay School on 20th June, starting at 6.30pm.”
