MP encourages local residents to give their views on proposals
John Baron MP has today encouraged local residents to respond to the consultation on changes being made at Barstable Post Office, 199 Timberlog Lane, Basildon. Changes under consideration include the introduction of low-screened, open plan style service points and longer opening hours. Changes would be implemented in October/November 2016. The consultation runs until 25th August.
John said:
“I welcome the move to increase opening hours at the Barstable Post Office which will give local people greater flexibility on when they can access these services. Such changes have been made in other Post Offices in the consitutency and have been a success. I encourage those who use the Post Office to have their say and respond to the consultation which runs until 25th August.”
