MP meets the newspaper club students
John Baron MP addressed the after school newspaper club at St Peter’s Primary School in Billericay where he answered questions tabled by 15 students from the club. The club are hoping to publish their own newspaper by the end of this year as their current entries appear on the school website. The students have interviewed many people this year including the West Ham United Football Club, as well as John.
John said:
“It was a delight to take questions from the school’s students who showed a broad knowledge of many issues. I look forward to seeing their own newspaper published shortly where my answers will be featured.”
Samantha said:
“It was a fantastic opportunity for the children. They enjoyed finding out about John and the work that he does. I certainly learnt a lot too. ”
