MP supports ‘Unity’ campaign

Earlier this month, John Baron MP attended a Parliamentary reception to mark World Cancer Day 2017. This year’s theme is ‘unity’, and the event was organised by a coalition of cancer charities, including: Cancer Research UK, Breast Cancer Care, Breast Cancer Now, CLIC Sargent, Anthony Nolan, Bowel Cancer UK and Marie Curie.

John said,

“I was pleased to help mark World Cancer Day 2017, and enjoyed meeting many dedicated volunteers, patients, nurses and researchers at the event. I wish them all well with the ‘unity’ campaign, and look forward to keeping in touch with the cancer community over the coming year.”
