MP looks forward to new opportunities
It was announced this morning that the Prime Minister, Rt Hon Theresa May MP, will trigger Article 50 on Wednesday, 29th March. This official notification to the President of the European Council will begin the formal two-year process of leaving the European Union.
John said,
“As someone who long campaigned for an EU referendum, and who strongly supported the ‘leave’ campaign, I am very pleased by the Prime Minister’s announcement. We can now look forward to the real commencement of the Brexit process, as we start the important work of recasting our relationship with both the EU and the wider world. I look forward to the many opportunities ahead.”
