MP delighted Lake Meadows has been named the best park in the East of England Region
John Baron MP has today congratulated Lake Meadows on being named the winner of the Fields in Trust UKs Best Park Award for the East of England Region. Lake Meadows beat 36 other parks and green spaces in the East of England Region in order to be named winner. Fields in Trust UK is a charity supporting parks and green spaces by protecting them and helping to ensure they are not lost. The ‘Best Park’ award allows the public to vote for their favourite local green space.
John said:
“I was pleased to hear that Lake Meadows has been named the best park in the East of England region following the public vote which took place in August. We are lucky to have such an important amenity in the local area and I was pleased to see it get the recognition it deserves.”
