MP says have your say

John Baron MP has today urged constituents to respond to The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s survey prior to the setting of the policing precept for 2020-2021. The consultation runs until midnight on 12th January.

John said:

“It is important for local residents to have their say on the level of the policing precept. Previous surveys have indicated that local residents are willing to pay a little more on their Council Tax to ensure that Essex Police is able to fund extra officers, but it is important to get the precept level right, and I would encourage people to feed into this process and have their say.”
