MP: Heed the Prime Minister’s words

This week the Prime Minister is writing to all 30 million households in the country, urging us all to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives. He also pays tribute to the NHS, including the large numbers of former NHS workers who have come out of retirement to help with the effort against the coronavirus, and the large numbers of volunteers who have put themselves forward to support their communities. The letter also encloses a leaflet including information about Government support for business.

John said,

“The Prime Minister rarely writes to every household in the country, so it is important that we all heed his words – to stay at home as much as possible, protect the NHS and save lives. Things will get worse before they get better, but the NHS is making extensive preparations, including the new Nightingale hospitals across London, Manchester and Birmingham, to ensure we have maximum capacity.”
