MP thanks staff and supporters for high success rate
Today, John Baron MP visited LifeSkills Solutions in Acorn House, Basildon. The company is a training provider offering work based and foundation learning across the country, and has been in Basildon for many years. Earlier this year the company introduced to Basildon a unique Fast Track Business Admin level 2 Apprenticeship Course specifically designed to help reduce the NEET’s (not in education, employment or training) register and give hope to young people struggling to find the right education or employment route.
John said:
“Congratulations to LifeSkills Solutions which has a very high success rate in obtaining work for those youngsters not in education, employment or training. Our thanks also go to local employers for accepting part-time placements during the 12-16 week course, and for offering them full-time employment afterwards.”
“We need more employers to come forward to offer placements. There is no cost for taking students on part-time during the course, and there may be a great benefit because there are many bright people here looking for a job.”
