MP encourages eligible companies to claim
The Government’s Coronavirus Statutory Sick Pay Rebate Scheme is now live. Employers with fewer than 250 employees can claim for coronavirus-related Statutory Sick Pay. The repayment will cover up to a fortnight of the applicable rate of sick pay. For details of eligibility and how to claim, please see ‘notes to editors’ below.
John said,
“At the outset of this coronavirus outbreak, the Government made clear that small employers would be able to claim back the cost of Statutory Sick Pay if their employees were off sick with coronavirus, or were self-isolating or shielding at home, for up to a fortnight. This scheme is now up and running, and I encourage all eligible employers to put in their claims.”
