MP: JETS will help with confidence and new skills
As part of the £30 billion Plan for Jobs and Winter Economy plan, the Government is launching Jobs Entry Targeted Support (JETS), a new initiative to support people who lose their jobs due to the coronavirus. Backed by £238 million, this will offer flexible and tailored support, including help with interviews and CV writing, to people out of work for three months. The scheme will launch in Essex on 19th October.
John said,
“I welcome this scheme, which will help give people who have found themselves out of work the confidence and skills to find new employment. This will be good news for constituents who have either lost, or are at risk of losing, their jobs through no fault of their own due to the coronavirus.”
