MP: Turing Scheme is a truly global programme

Replacing Britain’s participation in the Erasmus+ programme, the £110 million Turing Scheme will fund opportunities for around 35,000 students across the UK. Schools, colleges and universities can now apply for funding to allow students to study and work across the world. The Turing Scheme will target students from disadvantaged backgrounds and areas less likely to benefit from the Erasmus programme by supporting the costs of studying and working abroad, providing up to a maximum of £490 per month. Schools, colleges and universities will also be supported with the costs of administering the programme, and are encouraged to form partnerships around the world. Full details are on the Turing website – please see below for details.

John said,

“The new Turing Scheme is a truly global programme, with every country in the world eligible to partner with British universities, colleges and schools, and one which is intended to level up across the country by supporting students of all income groups. I encourage educational establishments across Basildon and Billericay to get involved and enable our students to access life-expanding work or study abroad.”
