MP: Tickets on sale from today
As part of the wider railway reforms, the Government is working to implement the reliable, rapid and affordable services that commuters require. Today the new flexible season tickets are going on sale. These will allow passengers to travel on any eight days in a 28-day period, and a ‘season ticket calculator’ is being introduced to help people obtain the deal that best suits their needs. This should help passengers save hundreds of pounds.

“I welcome this initiative, which should help many commuters across the constituency. The pandemic has changed working practises for many people, and in future we may not be travelling to the office as much as we did before. This new type of ticket is designed to give passengers the flexibility to respond to these new circumstances – and help save them hundreds of pounds in the process.”
