MP discusses a variety of issues and Fun Walk
Today John Baron MP visited BATIAS in their offices in Honey Pot Lane, Basildon. John met with Angie Cahill (Team Leader), Anita Curtis (Project Facilitator) and others for a group discussion about issues such as Disability Living allowance (DLA), changes to the NHS and the Fun Walk. BATIAS Independent Advocacy Service supports adults with a learning disability to make informed choices, to speak out and get their wishes heard.

“The BATIAS team do a fantastic job in supporting adults with a learning disability, and our thanks go to them for all they do. We discussed a range of issues, including changes to the NHS, and also their upcoming participation in the Fun Walk.
