MP encourages residents to respond to survey

Last week Essex County Council launched its Everyone Library Service 2022-2026 plan. The plan commits to keeping all 74 libraries open, with investment in training and the upskilling of existing library staff. There are also commitments to improve literacy, for both children and adults, and to increase the range of online resources available to users. Residents are invited to view the plan and give their feedback – details are below.

John said,

“Libraries are an important part of the fabric of our communities, and I am pleased the draft plan keeps all our libraries open. I encourage residents to help shape their local library services by considering the plan and giving their feedback.”
