MP hopes St. Luke’s will benefit from record bonus pot.

Today, John Baron MP joined the St Luke’s fundraising team to encourage everyone to sign up and raise money for St. Luke’s Hospice. This year the team is hoping to get lots of people to join The Fun Walk which is being held on the 22nd May at Barleylands Farm.  The attached photograph shows John with the team in the garden at St. Luke’s.

John said:

“Well done to the whole team at St. Luke’s for getting behind The Fun Walk. With the bonus pot at a record level, I hope St. Luke’s will raise lots of money for the excellent work it does in supporting individuals and families at a very vulnerable time.”

Organiser Anita Whelan said:

“I am excited about The Fun Walk and hope that people will sign up and take part. There is no entry fee but we do ask a minimum of £20 sponsorship per adult and £10 for under 16’s. Every person registering will receive a medal, bottle of water and a special certificate of recognition upon receipt of their sponsorship money. So please do it for St. Luke’s”
