MP hears about small business lending
John Baron MP has visited Barclays Bank, Basildon Town Centre. John met with staff and discussed the services on offer to customers including small and medium sized businesses [SMEs] during his tour.
John said:
“Barclays have a very professional team and I was pleased to hear how they are helping businesses in Basildon and Billericay during this challenging time. Lending is up, with the bank approving four out of five business loan applications. This is important for our economic growth.”
“The bank also offers free seminars giving advice and support to businesses, and actively engages with the Business Lending Taskforce.”
