Greenbelt, recession and environment issues all discussed
John Baron MP recently addressed 6th From students [Year 12] at the Billericay School as part of their General Studies, and took questions. He also met with Jack Gutteridge and Georgina Barwell who recently visited Auschwitz – a trip organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust. John’s Fun Walk helped in a small way to subsidise the trip.
John said:
“ We had a very lively and interesting session, and discussed a wide variety of issues including threats to our Greenbelt and High Street, travellers, international developments and the recession. It was a good turn out with lots of questions.”
“ I also enjoyed meeting Jack and Georgina from the School who recently visited Auschwitz in March. The Fun Walk helped to subsidise the trip.”
