MP highlights local manufacturing industry

John Baron MP has nominated Case New Holland’s T7000 Tractor, made in Basildon, for the Associate Parliamentary Manufacturing Group’s “Made By Britain” campaign. This campaign seeks to create an online map of manufacturing in Britain by each MP nominating a product that is made in their constituency today.

 John said:

“The Case New Holland plant in Basildon produces approximately 10% of all units in the agricultural machinery sector, of which the T7000 tractor is a world leader. It consumes on average nearly 10% less fuel than its competitors, and has many other Innovations in comfort and efficiency.”

“I am therefore proud to highlight this excellent manufacturing and congratulate all involved. The T700 illustrates the excellent local skills base and entrepreneurial spirit.”
