MP praises Chris Brewster and team

On Saturday, John Baron MP attended the 50th Anniversary celebrations of the Cater Museum, Billericay High Street. John presented a prize to Amy Gander who won the student’s competition to design a children’s guide to the museum. John was also presented with the first copy of a new book by Barbara Birdsall and Christine Brewster entitled ‘Billericay through the eyes of Harry Richman’ – this was in recognition of his support for the museum over the years.

John said:

“Many congratulations to the Cater Museum on its 50th birthday – the museum is a jewel in Billericay’s crown. Well done to Chris Brewster, the Governors and team for all their hard work, and to Amy Gander for winning the students competition marking the celebrations.”

“I was also honoured to receive as a thank you the first copy of Chris’ and Barbara’s new book, which is excellent. It has been a pleasure supporting the museum over the years.”
