MP encourages local business and social enterprise

John Baron MP is calling for young people aged between 16 and 21 to get involved in “The Stake” project.

Run by Barclays and Channel Four, “The Stake” is an online competition where any young person can submit an idea for a business or community project that they feel is worth a share of £100,000. A panel of judges then decide upon which they think are the best ideas and up to six young people will win a portion of the £100,000 to make their ideas a reality.

 John said:

“A competition such as demonstrates that business and social enterprise can be a fun and creative process. I would encourage local young people to take up this opportunity to show and benefit from their business skills.”
