John Baron MP attends official opening of Sunnyside Children’s Centre

MP congratulates the team

On Friday afternoon, John Baron MP attended the official opening of the Sunnyside Children’s Centre, Rosebay Avenue, Billericay. Also in attendance was Cllr Tony Hedley. During the ceremony, Stephanie Dawe [Executive Director, Mental Health Services, North East London NHS Foundation Trust] and Rosie Novis [Chair of the children’s centre advisory board, Billericay] welcomed everybody and thanked a number of people, including John, Cllrs Kay Twitchen and Tony Hedley, for their support.

John said:

“This children’s centre is already proving to be a very valuable community asset. It’s great to see lots of smiling faces here – young and older. Well done to the whole team, and to Essex County Council and South West Essex Community Services.”

Rosie Novis said:

“We are delighted that the Children’s Centre is open, where local families will find a warm welcome. Whilst children will be able to enjoy many play activities, a whole range of services will be on offer to help and support parents and carers.”
