MP congratulates the team on excellent work
John Baron MP and other local MPs and Cllrs recently joined forces to help Wickford Talking Newspapers with its work of taping local newspaper cuttings which are then distributed to visually impaired and blind people. John, Stephen Metcalfe MP, Mark Francois MP, Cllr Mo Larkin and Cllr Danny Lawrence all gathered at The George Hurd Centre, Basildon and met with the team led by Mike Ballinger.
John said:
“The team at Wickford Talking Newspapers do a great job in getting the news to visually impaired people, which helps those who perhaps feel a little isolated. They deserve our fullest thanks.”
