John Baron MP delighted at Lords Reform climb-down

MP says Government has made right decision

John Baron MP has reacted to the news this afternoon that the Government has decided to drop its House of Lords Reform Bill. John was one of 91 Conservative MPs who voted against the Government on this issue.

John said:

“The Government’s proposals would have been messy, dangerous and expensive. I therefore welcome this climb-down. Sense has finally prevailed.”
