MP encourages service users to have their say
John Baron MP today urges local residents who use the County Council’s Meals on Wheels service to respond to its consultation. Essex County Council is currently consulting on whether to remove the subsidy it pays for the Meals Service, which would result in a price rise for service users. Currently service users pay £3.95 a meal and Essex County Council pays a further 84p. The consultation will run for 6 weeks closing on Monday 7th July.
