MP says this will give greater certainty to owners and employers
The Chancellor has announced that the Coronavirus Jobs Retention Scheme will be extended until the end of April 2021, and that the Government business loan schemes will be available until the end of March 2021. So far, the Jobs Retention Scheme has helped to protect 9.6 million jobs across the UK, and over a million businesses have accessed a loan to support them through the pandemic.
John said,
“I welcome the extension of these business support schemes, which will give business owners and employers greater certainty in the weeks ahead, especially as regards the 45-day redundancy notice period. I look forward to the further business support announcements contained within the Budget on 3rd March.”
