MP highlights constituent’s search for donor
Basildon resident Alex Nicholson, 24, urgently requires a lifesaving stem cell transplant to treat his blood cancer. Along with his mother, Debbie, Alex is working with the Leukaemia Cancer Society to raise awareness of the need for more stem cell donors. Debbie has already donated some of her cells, but Alex now needs a further donation. He is of mixed Greek and English ethnicity, so may need to rely on donors of mixed heritage.
John said,
“Stem cell donations can make all the difference when treating blood cancers, and I encourage people to consider joining the stem cell register to help Alex and others.”
