John Baron MP packs Christmas hampers with The Basket Brigade, Billericay

MP joins the Essex ‘Yes Group’ and the Hemraj Goyal Foundation to help spearhead project

Today, John Baron MP helped other volunteers pack over 200 Christmas hampers for the needy at Hallmark Carehomes head office in Radford Way, Billericay. The hampers were labeled ‘From someone who cares’. The volunteers have formed The ‘Basket Brigade’. This is a world-renowned initiative, but it is The Essex ‘Yes Group’ who have spearheaded this campaign for the first time in Billericay, Brentwood & Basildon. The Billericay based Hemraj Goyal Foundation has worked with the ‘Yes Group’ to identify a number of local charities that will benefit from receiving hampers.

 John said:

 “Well done to the ‘Yes Group’, Hallmark Carehomes and the Hemraj Goyal Foundation for this excellent initiative.  This heart-warming project encapsulates the Christmas Spirit.”
